Find us woods to work in East Devon! We need woods to work to secure future of cooperative in East Devon.

Axewoods is a co-operative set up to link woodlands wanting work with people wanting wood and the opportunity to improve woodlands across East Devon and West Dorset.

We’re currently improving woodlands at Sidmouth and Honiton thanks to the support of the Forestry Commission and East Devon AONB through their Sustainable Development Fund and through European ‘Making IT Local’ funding.

Two more work dates for you all:

December 14th & 15th

Then January 18th & 19th

Please bring friends, family and particularly children to our woodland open barbecue day on Saturday the 19th. This will double up as our open AGM where we can catch up and provide some answers. Please bring some food and some friends for 12 am on and you’ll find us pretty much in the centre of Salcombe Hill woods (perhaps 300 yards from the observatory leaving Sidmouth) with fires on the go.
